Anyone who aligns, fastens or welds components on a daily basis is familiar with the problem: screw clamps, quick-release clamps or welded auxiliary structures can lead to certain restrictions in the working area. Automated welding was virtually impossible, especially when using robots. The DEMMELER® Multi-RST solves precisely this problem: fewer interfering edges, more freedom, more efficiency – and thus perfectly equipped for the requirements of modern manufacturing and welding processes.
At the heart of the Multi-RST is its innovative pipe clamping technology. Hardened individual parts such as clamping pipes and clamping pieces generate a strong tilting moment during clamping – either with a light hammer blow or alternatively with a small cordless impact wrench. This creates a secure friction connection without the need for a traditional threaded spindle.
Functionality and possible applications

The hardened individual parts such as clamping tubes, clamping pieces, etc. generate a strong tightening torque (friction connection) when clamped by means of a light hammer blow or, alternatively, by means of a small cordless impact wrench. This means that the surfaces of the clamping devices will not show any damage or wear. Loosening the new clamping element is very easy, simply by repeating the process in reverse with light hammer blows or using the small cordless impact wrench.

The new clamping method requires significantly less physical effort. Conventional threaded spindles or similar devices strain the wrist when clamping and releasing.

Since both clamping axes have an axis angle of approx. 80°, activating them results in ideal downward pull and a sliding effect on the stop surfaces.
